The Enwealth Foundation SEED Programme has graduated its first cohort of SME entrepreneurs, equipping over 50 business leaders with critical skills in leadership, financial management, and governance.
Among the distinguished graduates were our own directors — Amos Nyoike, Madam Maryanne Thande, and Dir. John Gitahi — who proudly represented our organization in this transformative journey.
In business, growth is not only about having capital.
It is about having the knowledge to use that capital wisely, the discipline to manage it, the leadership to build the right team, and the vision to create a business that can stand the test of time.
That is why the recent graduation of the inaugural cohort of the Enwealth Foundation’s SEED Programme carries particular significance for Buildex Interiors.
The programme brought together more than 50 entrepreneurs for 12 weeks of practical learning designed to help business owners build stronger, more sustainable businesses.
And for us, this was about more than receiving certificates.
It was about becoming better leaders.
What Is the SEED Programme?
Running a business is not always easy.
Having a good product is not enough. You need to understand your finances, manage people, plan for the future, understand your customers and make smart decisions when challenges come.
That is where the SEED Programme comes in.
The programme focused on practical business skills including financial management, business planning, leadership, human resource management, sales, risk management, compliance and digital tools.
The goal was simple:
Help entrepreneurs become better equipped to grow and manage their businesses.
Three Buildex Leaders Took the Challenge
We are especially proud that three of our directors chose to be part of this first cohort.
Amos Nyoike
Amos Nyoike joined the programme as part of his continued commitment to learning and strengthening his approach to business leadership.
For us, his participation represents an important principle:

Madam Maryanne Thande
Madam Maryanne Thande was also part of the pioneering SEED cohort.
Her participation reflects the importance Buildex places on strong leadership, continuous improvement and preparing for the future.
Director John Gitahi
Director John Gitahi also successfully completed the programme.
Speaking about his experience, Gitahi shared that the programme changed the way he looked at business. It helped him think more carefully about areas such as financial discipline, planning and making business decisions.
